Welcome to the Leadership LAB
The Leadership LAB is an innovative program dedicated to developing leadership skills through a research-based and experiential approach. Much like a traditional science laboratory, our model emphasizes experimentation, reflection, and growth. Participants are encouraged to try new strategies, analyze outcomes, and apply what they learn to continuously improve themselves and their communities.
Our mission is to equip students and educators with transferable leadership competencies that extend beyond individual projects or programs.

Our trainings are based on the premise that everyone has the potential to be a leader. The curriculum is designed to help students discover and refine their leadership skills and use them effectively back in their own school and community.
The process of “learning by doing” is rooted in the Experiential Learning Cycle (first popularized by David Kolb). It’s not just doing — it’s reflecting on doing that drives growth.

The Leadership LAB is designed for all students, not just those with traditional leadership titles. It supports ASB, Renaissance, AVID, athletics, journalism, clubs, and other student programs, while also helping educators strengthen leadership across their campus.
